Professional relationships, built through exceptional experiences.
Out of Office! is an invitation-only club for chief executives, functional heads, general managers and senior operators responsible for consequential decisions inside their companies. A few times a year we take a small group beyond their usual setting and circle, and give them the time and shared context to build relationships that continue after everyone is back at work.
The relationships that turn out to matter are often formed before anybody needs them. Members run companies, divisions, functions and teams. They decide about people, budgets, suppliers, partnerships and strategy, and they answer for the results.
The setting is the invitation. The people are the reason. The chef's table, a private view before anyone else is let in, the suite at the game, backstage, the court on a Saturday, and dinners that run long.
We do not manufacture outcomes. We make the conditions for them. A senior hire, a role that stayed private, a customer or partner, a supplier worth changing to, an advisor or a mentor, and a person to call.
We ask what matters, then build the room around the answers. The useful person may be across the table, elsewhere in the room, or one introduction away.
Your experience is covered. Your access stays private. Membership carries no annual dues, and a limited number of companies fund the club and its experiences.
A personal invitation, a ten-minute conversation, invitations only where there is a reason, the room composed around the people coming, and a private group chat that stays open afterwards.
An invitation-only club for chief executives, functional heads, general managers and senior operators. Moots brings carefully assembled groups together through shared experiences, so that useful professional relationships have the time and the setting to form.
People who run companies or significant parts of them. Business-unit heads, vice presidents, functional heads, general managers, and executives responsible for budgets, suppliers, hiring, strategy or operations.
Because of where it happens, not what it replaces. Members step outside their building, their usual circle and the standard meeting format. It is not a social club and it is not time off.
No. This is a club of operating executives, and the conversations are about running companies, hiring, careers, suppliers, customers and difficult decisions.
A member or a partner refers them, or the team approaches them directly. There is no application form. Every member has a ten-minute conversation first.
No. Members hear from Out of Office when there is a credible reason for them to be in that particular group.
The date, the venue by name, the format, which partner is funding it, the question the group is being assembled around, and why it is relevant to that member.
Often a dinner. Others are private views, a suite at the game, backstage, or a weekend. The partner covers the hosted experience itself. Travel and accommodation are the member's own unless stated otherwise.
Membership carries no annual dues. A limited number of partners fund the club and its experiences, because they want to be known and trusted by the executives who decide what their companies buy and use. Their support does not buy control of the guest list, the conversation or any introduction.
No. Invitations are personal and seats are held by name, because the group is assembled around the specific people attending.
By expectation rather than paperwork. What is said stays with the people who were there.
