The Private Attention Graph

Abstract. Artificial intelligence is reducing the cost of producing digital work. As digital output scales, a different institutional bottleneck is becoming more important: trusted human context. The next decade of organizational advantage will depend not only on who can generate the most digital output, but on who can understand, preserve, and activate the human environments where trust, capital, talent, influence, and opportunity move. This paper introduces Relationship Intelligence as a core application layer of the AI era. It is not a CRM, a contact database, or an event platform. It is a system of context for the human environments where important decisions are made.

The paper argues that six shifts are underway. First, as digital work becomes commoditized, access to trusted human context becomes more valuable. Second, access itself becomes both a threat and a product design opportunity. Third, human interaction should be understood as strategic infrastructure. Fourth, events and private gatherings should be understood not only as experiences, but as relationship infrastructure. Fifth, relationship knowledge must move from individual memory to institutional intelligence. Sixth, the private attention graph — the map of where influential people choose to spend time, build trust, and engage before their intentions become public — will become an important source of early institutional signal.
